A classic roller blind consists of an aluminum tube, an aluminum cassette (STANDART PLUS), metal or plastic fasteners, a bottom profile, a control mechanism and fabric. All these components can be selected and customized according to the customer's wishes.

When choosing roller blinds, it is very important to consider where they will be installed. Classic roller blinds can be installed: on the wall, on the ceiling, against the window frame or in a niche. Classic roller blinds are wound on four different tube sizes (the tube is the part of the blind on which the fabric is wound): 19mm, 30mm, 42mm, 65mm. In addition, to ensure that the final product meets the expectations of each customer, DEXLINE offers several different colors of mechanisms, such as black, white, gray, metallic, anthracite.

Fabrics

DEXTERA offers more than 500 different classic roller blinds from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Turkey. The range of fabrics includes translucent, translucent, black out and reflective fabrics.

Sunlight-reflective fabrics - fabrics coated with aluminum or special PERLEX material reflect the sun's rays and thus reduce sun exposure during the day and prevent the room from overheating. Reduce air conditioning costs.

BLACK OUT fabricsThe opaque fabrics, coated with a special multi-layer polyester coating, block out light completely, so that when you close the window, the room will be as dark as night. This is an ideal choice for a bedroom or children's room, a photo studio or any other room where complete darkness is required. These fabrics belong to the functional collection of fabrics with a light transmittance of 0%.

SCREEN fabrics - block harmful UV rays while allowing light to pass through, protecting furniture from fading and helping to reduce room cooling costs. SCREEN fabrics effectively reduce glare, making them ideal for media rooms and offices. The mesh-like fabric is made of fiberglass and PVC, easy to maintain and very durable. You can choose fabrics with different degrees of sun transmission (1%, 3%, 5% and 10%).

Antiviral and antibacterial SCREEN fabrics - an innovative new product, these fabrics have a fast and long-lasting antiviral and antibacterial effect. It is an extremely practical choice for public areas with strict hygiene requirements and for creating a safe environment in the home or children's play areas.

Eco Essence recycled plastic fabrics - Is a collection of roller blinds whose fabrics are all made from 100% recycled plastic, and:

  • The metal curtain frame and fabric can be recycled again;
  • To produce 1 m² of fabric, 11 plastic bottles are recycled;
  • 50% less energy and water is used to produce the fabric;
  • Climate change impacts are reduced by 30% compared to the production of conventional fabrics;
  • The maximum width of the fabric is 2.8 m and the length is 25 m;
  • Fabric weight 194 g/m², thickness 0.23 mm;
  • All fabrics are Oeko Tex certified;
  • Easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Eco Essence fabrics do not look any different from conventional roll fabrics - you can see for yourself! You can see samples of these fabrics in DEXTERA showrooms.

Control of roller blinds

Classic roller blinds can be operated in three ways - by chain, automatically and spring, depending on the type of classic roller blind.

  • Adjacent to the window - chain, motor (remote control).
  • Free hanging with cassette - chain, motor (remote control), spring (controlled by a handle mounted on the bottom profile).
  • Free hanging without cassette - chain, remote control or wall switch.
  • MANUAL OPERATION: A plastic or metal chain is the manual, simplest and most commonly used method of control, while a spring is an extremely practical, modern way of controlling roller blinds, where the blinds fold and lock into place on contact with the bottom profile.
  • AUTOMATIC CONTROL: Motorized control is especially convenient when buying roller blinds for large windows. In this case, at the touch of a button, you can control the flow of light into the room without worrying about it. The motors for roller blinds can be equipped with a battery, so such blinds can be installed even in places where there is no source of electricity.
