MORE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Pleated blinds let light in gracefully, creating a cozy and elegant atmosphere in the interior. They are ideal for windows and doors with sashes, as they are mounted close to the glass. Even with the sash fully open, the appearance of the window frame remains neat.

Pleated blinds are a popular solution for sun protection. Their modern and versatile design allows you to adjust the level of light in the room and provides comfortable privacy. Fabrics with a partially reflective coating help to reduce air conditioning costs by maintaining an optimal microclimate. DEXLINE uses the German COSIFLOR system for the production of pleated blinds. Its key advantages are durability, strong aluminum construction, stylish design and impeccable German quality. The mechanism is designed to be easy to clean and maintain.

IMPORTANT: When choosing pleated blinds, be aware that the fabric has vertical holes for the cords, through which light can penetrate. If total light-tightness is important, look for HONEYCOMB fabrics, which do not have such holes.

EXTENSIVE INSTALLATION OPTIONS

The advantage of pleated blinds is that they can be adapted to any window shape (arched, triangular and other non-standard shapes).

  • These blinds are installed closest to the window pane compared to other window coverings (between the panes), so the pleats minimize protrusion and allow the window to open fully;
  • Easy to care for, the fabric does not fade, does not collect dust and retains a stable pleated shape;
  • Suitable even for the kitchen (closer to the stove the fabric is Teflon coated - easy to clean and more heat resistant

DIMENSIONAL LIMITS:

Fabrics

DEXLINE offers its customers a wide range of fabrics for pleated blinds. From bright and eye-catching to soft, pastel or neutral colors.

When choosing pleated blinds, we advise you to pay attention not only to the color of the fabric, but also to its functionality. We can offer standard plissé blinds or Teflon-coated fabrics (i.e. more resistant to heat), PERLEX or aluminum foil coated fabrics. This type of fabric will appeal to those who want to completely shade a room and who need a particularly high level of light reflection to protect the room from heat. The use of partially reflective fabrics can reduce air conditioning costs.

Fabrics for pleated blinds - type HONEYCOMB (honeycomb). This type of pleated blinds consists of two layers of fabric, joined together only at the folds of the armonica. Where the fabrics are not joined, honeycombs are formed. They differ in that the control cords are built into the inside of the blinds, so that neither holes nor cords are visible from the outside. Such fabrics will be especially appreciated by those who want to completely darken a room. Most fabrics of this type are manufactured in Germany, are PVC-free and OEKO-TEX certified.

The main advantages of HONEYCOMB (honeycomb) fabrics:

Energy Efficiency: HONEYCOMB pleated curtain fabrics are known for their insulating properties. The unique honeycomb structure of HONEYCOMB fabrics acts as an insulator between the outside and inside. This helps retain heat in the winter and coolness in the summer, increasing the energy efficiency of the home and reducing heating or cooling costs. Windows are the biggest source of heat loss in a home, and the older the windows are, the more heat you lose through them.
Light Control: HONEYCOMB fabric has a double layer that acts as a diffuser, diffusing light and providing subtle illumination in the room. To achieve total room darkening, choose HONEYCOMB Blackout fabric to achieve the desired level of darkness and privacy.
Soundproofing: HONEYCOMB fabrics reduce noise from outside or from other rooms thanks to their double-layer construction. This type of fabric absorbs sound, reducing its dispersion and thus improving the acoustics of the room.
Design possibilities: DEXTERA offers HONEYCOMB fabrics in various shades and textures to suit different interior styles and window shapes. We invite you to use all the variety of these louvre fabrics and create the desired accents in the interior of your home!

Plissé blinds work from top down, bottom up, so you can cover only the center portion of the window without losing natural daylight.
